About SimplySolved

SimplySolved is a UAE-based outsourced operations and advisory firm spanning accounting and tax, audit and assurance, corporate services, employee management and payroll, ERP and Zoho implementation, ISO certification, and digital marketing. The business is broader than a traditional accounting practice and more operationally involved than a conventional adviser.

It has substantive proof points: FTA-approved Tax Agency status, ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 certifications, local regulatory fluency, documented delivery systems and long-standing client relationships. Yet these strengths are not currently visible, coherent or distinctive at first glance.

The competitive landscape

Competition is tiered, and it runs from the cheapest and least branded up to the most credible. SimplySolved competes across the lower four. The fifth is where credibility and brand actually live.

Customer segmentation

01Foreign firms
Who they are

Foreign-origin businesses establishing or running a UAE presence. They arrive not knowing local compliance, tax or payroll, and want the whole finance, tax and admin function run to a professional corporate standard, with senior attention, not a Big-4 junior at a premium. They buy on value and risk, not price.

Corporate standards, and senior attention, not a junior at a premium
Local fluency: how the UAE actually works, and how it all fits together
Systems and SOPs, so the know-how stays as employees come and go
A partner they can set up and forget, confident it will work
02Local professional & service firms
Who they are

Established local businesses up to around AED 50M and 50 people, professionally run. Grouped by profession, because the compliance and the pain differ by trade: legal, healthcare and clinics, consultancies and agencies, real estate, tech and IT services, and finance-process outsourcers. Explicitly not manufacturing or trading.

Reliability: nothing compliance-related ever lapses
Tight controls, so nothing leaks and the numbers stay clean
Advice and reporting they can act on, not just bookkeeping
One partner who takes the whole thing off their plate
03Startups
Who they are

New ventures being built, from the first idea through to a funded scale-up. What they need shifts as they grow, so they have to be set up right for a long-term vision that varies, with the finance and admin run. The gateway is legal-entity setup and structuring.

Told what they do not know: the obligations, the reliefs, the implications
The right set up from day one, fit for the stage they are at
Structured for the future they intend, not just the company today
Investor-grade from the foundation, so a raise costs nothing to clean up
The admin carried, when one person is already doing everything
04Niche & offering-based segments
Who they are

High-value, specialist offerings for specific types of customer: high-net-worth individuals looking to create asset structures, a free-zone company living on its 0% corporate tax status and wanting to ensure it is doing things properly, a large company that suspects something in its tax position may not hold up and wants an outside read before it becomes a problem.

Deep subject-matter expertise in structuring, tax and compliance
Complex, high-stakes work delivered to an excellent standard
A track record strong enough that the referral keeps coming
The underlying need is the same
Set up right at the outset. Run right, whatever changes.
What is in the way

The Problem

One

The brand undersells the value SimplySolved offers

SimplySolved delivers far more than its brand shows. At every touchpoint, the presentation undersells the firm.

How it looks

Dated, not high-calibre

People judge a brand in seconds, and the first impression does not signal the value SimplySolved creates.

What it says

The value proposition is missing

It is company-centric, not customer-centric, so the value never lands with the people it is for.

What is buried

Value out of sight

A lot of valuable thought leadership and content is hidden inside the website and fragmented across subdomains.

The value SimplySolved creates versus the value its brand signals

Two

SimplySolved is a founder-led business, not a brand-led business

There is no brand equity, there is no brand strategy, and the firm has no voice of its own.

Clients buy because of the founder. The intended shift is to a brand-led company, where the brand carries what the firm is good at:

  1. High standards held on every engagement
  2. Powerful systems underneath the work, and
  3. Innovation in how the work gets done.

Brand strategy

Define and articulate a clear brand purpose, strong brand beliefs, and a brand idea that will sit at the heart of the brand and embody everything it stands for.

Creative direction

SimplySolved's creative identity and brand guidelines have to embody the brand driver, covering the brand purpose, brand beliefs, brand idea, and the brand story.

SimplySolved has to embody both sets of qualities. A hybrid of the two.

Corporate identity and brand guidelines

Scope of work

Stage one

Corporate identity design

We would like the submission of three design directions, as outlined below. Each design direction presentation should include a description of the thinking behind it, and a few examples of applications, so we can get a sense of how the direction will expand. The full brand guidelines come later, once a design direction is confirmed.

Direction 01

Modern fresh take on existing logo

Covering both the brand mark and the word mark.

Directions 02 and 03

Two fresh new directions

Work from what you know. There is no restriction on the kind of logo: a word mark on its own, or a word mark with a brand mark. Take the brand applications into account.
